Generic short diagnoses: Often deliquescent black-spored, saprobic, very delicate or more fleshy agarics, oftwn with plicate pilei; veil often prominent and many with prominent pileocystidia; spores with mostly prominent germ pore, smooth or ornamented; hymenial cystidia mostly prominent.
