Generic short diagnoses: Inoperculate, embedded discomycetes on leaves of Ilex, Hedera or Prunus, with a covering layer of host tissue opening by a lid or several lobes to expose yellowish to greyish discs, with ± ellipsoid, 0-septate spores.
