MycoKey : the genus Physisporinus

Generic short diagnoses: Resupinate, whitish, ± waxy, often staining (red to black), soil-, litter-, or wood-inhabiting, white rotting polypores, with monomitic hyphal system, globose to broadly ellipsoid spores and fusiform cystidia.
