MycoKey : the species Pezicula carpinea

Generic short diagnoses: Sessile to short stipitate, ± yellowish to brown, mostly convex, often clustered, inoperculate discomycetes on wood or woody substrates, with large, ± ellipsoid, mostly septate spores and a hyaline to brown textura angularis to prismatica.
