MycoKey : the genus Paratrichophaea

Generic short diagnoses: Small, flat, pale grey operculate discomycetes with apothecia covered with small, club-like cells at the margin and brown hairs (setae) on the outside; spores ellipsoid, smooth, agutullate. On soil and burnt ground.
