MycoKey : the genus Mycocalia

Generic short diagnoses: Small, pulvinate gasteroid fungi with a thin, outer, evanescent skin with simple clamped hyphae, and an inner mass of one to several egg-like structures (peridioles) within which the basidia are formed. The basidia often become thick-walled and pigmented.
