MycoKey : the species Lycoperdon pyriforme

Generic short diagnoses: Typical puffballs with well developed subgleba (± ’stipitate’) and a well delimited, ± round opening; capillitium simple. Surface when young with granules or distinct spines, that in some species readily fall off leaving a distinct pattern or not.
