MycoKey : the genus Hyalopeziza

Generic short diagnoses: Small, sessile to stipitate, inoperculate discomycetes, characterized by cylindrical paraphyses and thick-walled, glassy, amyloid or non-amyloid hairs with a narrow lumen, which retain their glassiness in KOH.
