MycoKey : the genus Genea

Generic short diagnoses: Smooth, scaly or warty, brown to black, fragile ascomycete truffles with hollow, ± folded gleba, clavate to cylindrical asci and large, ornamented, hyaline to yellowish, ellipsoid spores.
