MycoKey : the genus Didymascella

Generic short diagnoses: Immersed discomycetes in needles of Cupressaceae, opening by teeth or by shedding of a lid to expose olive brown to blackish brown discs; with brown, ellipsoid to ovoid spores with an asymmetric septum.
