Generic short diagnoses: Subsessile to stipitate, inoperculate discomycetes, mostly on stems, leaves or cupules, with non-septate spores, lanceolate paraphyses and brown, densely warted hairs with the septa accumulating near the apex, apex mostly bearing crystals.
