MycoKey : the species Botryobasidium aureum

Generic short diagnoses: Thin, ± cottony, white or pale resupinate with cylindrical to barrel-shaped basidia and inamyloid spores, basidia often with more than 4 sterigmata, basal hyphae wide and often brownish; may be associated with distinct buff or grey anamorphs.
