MycoKey : the species Agaricus devoniensis

Generic short diagnoses: Brown- to black-spored, fleshy, saprobic agarics with free lamellae and mostly with prominent veil in the form of rings or sheaths on the stipe. Often with strong smell and staining flesh. Cheilocystidia present or absent.
