Generic short diagnoses: Sessile to short stipitate, inoperculate discomycetes on non-wooody substrata with white to yellow or orange colours, narrowing to lageniform, thin-walled hairs and fairly large spores. The paraphyses and hairs contain refractive vacuoles that turn yellow in herbarium material. |
