Generic short diagnoses: Broadly attached, ± gelatinous, disc- to cushion-shaped, greenish, olive or blackish, inoperculate discomycetes on wood or resin, with non-septate to multiseptate spores which may form microconidia. Sometimes with prominent stilbelloid anamorph.
