This is somewhat of a mystery fungus, originally thought to be a Craterellus but following the studies by Terry Henkel from the Guyanan Highlands we think it could be a Clavulina. It is obviously a ectomycorrhizal fungus and often co-occurs with other ectotrophic fungi
