Theodor Holmskjold was born in Denmark in 1732. He especially studied the morphology and development of danish species of Agaricaceae, Clavariaceae and Discomycetes. His principal work is "Beata ruris otia fungis danicis impensa", of wich vol. I was published in 1790, whereas vol. II came in 1799, five years after his death. |
